All glow in dark filaments need to absorb light energy first, then glow in the darkness. It appears the colors of the filament itself at daytime. It will give out an amazing glow effect after exposing to strong sunlight or UV light for only 30 minutes. But too long exposure time may damage the glow materials in the filament. So it’s recommended to expose it to light source for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

The glow effect varies depends on different types of light source, exposure distance, exposure time.
The general rule is as follows:
UV light > Sunlight > LED light

The luminous brightness of different glow in dark colors varies. And different color series shows a different visual effect, so the brightness will not look exactly the same.

Glow Filament Property – All the glow filaments on the market are a bit brittle because of the luminous powder contained inside, please use it with care, keep the angle smooth when feeding and print with more patience.
