Converting Image File to 3D Object

We do have many customers asking about how to convert logo in image format into editable 3d files. After researching the subject, we found pragmatic way to do it .

1. Convert Image to SVG

Many tools available in the market , easiest is to use one of the online converter upload photo and download the SVG format.

   2. Import SVG into Cad Software (Fusion360) 

 Once you have the SVG file go to Insert Tab---> Insert SVG 

The SVG will not be perfect , so you will need to edit it to be acceptable . If the SVG inserted is one outline , you will need to offset to create the base of the 3d model .

3- Extrude the sketch and obtain 3d Image . 

We have used revolve feature to get curved extrusion.
