Mystery Colorare filaments color that didn't turn out exactly as anticipated, typically due to the transition between different colors in our filament extrusion process. The filament remains perfectly usable for printing, made with 100% Grade A Virgin PLA.
This filament is ideal for those who do not mind the color of the PLA Filament.
1kg (2.2lbs) spool of Standard PLA filament manufactured in Canada vacuum sealed with a desiccant pack.
Material: 100% Grade A Virgin PLA
Specific gravity : > 1(density: 1.23 ~ 1.27g/ml (25 °C))
116 Rockwell Hardness
53MPa tensile strength @Yield (one of the strongest on the market)
5% Elongation @Yield
Extruded from high-quality raw materials
Uses an advanced 2-step drying process to reduce water content resulting in more stable material
FDA approved raw material with non-toxic pigments
Coiled in a recycled cardboard spool to easily monitor consumption. Vacuum sealed with desiccant bag for optimal moisture control
Printing Parameters
Printing Temperature :190°C - 230°C
Heated Bed: PLA can be printed with or without a heated print bed. However, if your 3D printer does have a heated bed, it is recommended that you set your bed temperature to approximately 60°C.
First layer usually 5°C-10°C higher than subsequent layers.
Sticks well to Glass with PVA Glue ,BuildTak, PEI, or blue tape.
I bought a mystery color, knowing it's always good to have an budget filament for non-aesthetic, functional or test prints.
I also like surprises.... My mystery color was baby blue(ish)?
It's a great filament. As you can see in my temperature tower, I have absolutely no stringing. Ignore the top one at 200; it's not in their recommended temperature range. I use 210°C with 18mm3/s. Very good flow rate for a budget filament.
