I cant recommend this build plate enough. It works like a dream, I can successfully print PETG and ABS with no warping and no brim. So far 100% satisfied It really sticks!

For Christmas I received the smooth version of this surface. Also awesome. The smooth surface prints almost as smooth as printing on glass but the prints stick better and come off easier. I have been having great success printing with PLA, ABS, Nylon and PETG. I use glue for PLA ABS and Nylon and the PETG prints really well on the plain surface and releases easily when cooled.

FYI this is what it looks like after printing at least 64 prints, and I would say 20 of those were the same item reprinted on the same spot on the bed which I found with previous print surfaces would cause serious degradation of the surface.

Ordered October 4. Arrived October 6. It is now October 20 and I have had more success using this build surface than I have with anything I have tried since I got my printer in 2017. I have used glass and had pretty good success but holding glass in place is a problem and getting bed levelling with inductive or optical sensors doesn't work. I have used blue tape but that is a consumable and simply did not work well for things like solid ABS that warped and lifted the tape off the bed. I have used kapton tape, also consumable, lasts longer than blue tape but still has issues with warping parts peeling it off the bed. I used a soft magnetic surface and had great results but after multiple prints, especially repeat prints of the same model in the same spot on the print bed the bed was damaged. I used a similar metal sheet but it was so thin that it warped and lifted off the magnetic bed and I once again had warped parts. I use this with Elmers disappearing purple glue with ABS and it works REALLY well and I have printed repeat parts in the same spot and there is no degradation in the surface. When cooled parts pop off when you flex the sheet. I purchased the rough surface version and have been so happy with it I am going to try the smooth variation shortly. If you have been struggling with warping, struggling getting prints off when done, struggling with surfaces getting damaged with use... this is the answer.

This is an "out of the box" review... I will do another review in a few weeks after using it more but so far this is great. The steel sheet is MUCH thicker than another I purchased for the same amount off Amazon. This one is .5mm thick and the other was .3mm and the difference is HUGE. This is much stiffer and I expect that filaments that typically warp like ABS and Nylon will not be able to warp this sheet like they did the thin one. This one comes with what seems like a really good magnetic sheet to stick on your print bed. The one I purchased from Amazon did not even include the magnetic sheet. This magnetic sheet seems stronger than a previous one I have with a different print surface. I was a but scared to try this after my Amazon experience, but the quality of this surface seems really good and the thickness feels like it will really help keep parts from warping.
