This recycled PETG Filament comes in different colors.
This is Recycled PETG filament recycled from different colours of virgin PETG. Some of the recycled PETG spools contain inconsistent colour.
Both PETG resin and colorant are non-toxic material.
Made in Canada, Ontario utilizing sophisticated extrusion equipment and high-tech drying technology. The filaments are monitored with live multi-axis micrometer, and computerized diameter monitoring technology, producing clean, repeatable and reproducible results.
Material: 100% Grade A Virgin PETG
Specific gravity : > 1(density: 1.23 ~ 1.27g/ml (25 °C))
116 Rockwell Hardness
53MPa tensile strength @Yield (one of the strongest on the market)
5% Elongation @Yield
Extruded from high-quality raw materials
Uses an advanced 2-step drying process to reduce water content resulting in more stable material
FDA approved raw material with non-toxic pigments
Vacuum sealed with desiccant bag for optimal moisture control
Colour is great. Prints well most of the time. Found that there were adhesion issues for items that were tall like a tower….but may just need to adjust the settings.

This recycled PETG is rubbish but, critically, it's CHEAP rubbish - assuming you're buying it for $12.99 like I did.
I recently completed a week-long test printing project of over 60 different PETG formulations, including filaments from many different vendors and at least one spool of pretty much every color you can readily buy. This recycled PETG had BY FAR the worst print quality, including bubbles all over the outer walls, and that's AFTER dehydrating it at 65 Celsius for 8 hours.
Only a handful of other spools I tested had any visible print defects and these were all corrected with a few more hours in the dehydrator. This recycled stuff... maybe it'll print better with more time in the dehydrator, or maybe I just happened to open a particularly bad spool for my first try, but the results were certainly not something you'd want to show off. And MY GOD the winding is truly something to behold, it'll be a miracle if there's not at least one tangle on every spool. It's like a child wound it while blindfolded. Hopefully you have an AMS with tangle detection and auto-backup like me.
ALL OF THAT SAID, this stuff is still fine for prototyping, and that's why I bought it - in fact at $12.99 it's the cheapest PETG you can buy (AFAIK). If Digitmakers offered a bulk buy option, something like 20 spools for $200, I'd absolutely order it. Knowing its limitations, at $12.99 it's alright, but $10/KG would make it a frequent purchase, for me at least.

Overall liked this product, and I love that it's recycled. It strings a lot, but that's quite normal for PETg. It's good for mechanical parts/outdoor objects prototypes that won't need to look pretty. The black garbage bag colour has its charms!
