Original Spring Steel Sheet with Smooth Double-Sided PEI i3 MK3/S and MK2.5/S

Works great at first, then PLA residue makes first-layer adhesion difficult. A strong soap will temporarily improve this, but eventually, that's not enough. Unlike the satin and textured powder-coated sheets, though, the smooth sheets can be cleaned with a scouring pad or fine-grit sandpaper, and after doing that, the first layer adhesion goes back to how it was initially. PEI can take a beating, anything above 400 grit should be fine as long as it's properly mounted on something flat, to avoid applying too much pressure on any one spot. I don't have experience with any alternatives, but these sheets are a pleasure to work with, and for PLA printing, no glue or hairspray is needed, just alcohol, soap, and occasional scuffing, in that order.

Sheets came quickly, but they leave heat marks on the sheet from the edge of the print. So far it doesn't effect anything but it's different than the sheet that came with.

Great plate, i tried statin an the pegt plate, for my use didnt have good results, but that for me, they are great plates,for other uses, but the smoorh plate works awesome for MY WORK I DO, it sticks my Switch Grips to the board i have 36 board full printed awesome with it. But like i said everyboard has it own use there sll great, drpends on the job ur doing.
